Job Summary
The Sales Assistant supports the sales team in achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves assisting customers, processing transactions, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the sales floor is clean and organized. The Sales Assistant also helps with administrative tasks and provides valuable feedback on customer preferences and trends.
Responsibilities & Duties
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Recommend and display items that match customer needs
• Welcome and greet customers
• Manage point-of-sale processes
• Actively involved in the receiving of new shipments
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

• The ability to read, write, and perform basic math

Requirements & Qualifications
• Proven working experience in retail sales
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English

• Basic administration skills
• Diploma, HND, Degree
